Sarah was born in December 1,1928 to the late Artie and emma Everson in Gwinnett county Georgia.
Sarah joined the new bethel AME church in Lithonia, Georgia at an early age. She served faithfully on the usher board for an extended period of time.
Sarah completed her elementary school education at Shiloh in Gwinnett county. She worked for many years as a domestic worker. Sarah also enjoyed cooking and doing yard work.
Sarah married the late Almer smith of Stone Mountain Georgia. She then married the late Henry James Lewis of Stone Mountain Georgia.
She was a faithful wife, a devoted sister, and aunt. She was preceded in death by her late husbands almer smith and Henry James Lewis. Sarah was also preceded in death by 8 siblings.
