Sarah Melissa Parris, affectionately known as Missy, passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 51. She was born on August 28, 1972, in Cleveland, TN, where she spent her entire life.

Missy devoted herself to her role as a housewife, finding joy and fulfillment in raising her large family. Her proudest accomplishment was the love and care she poured into her children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

She was married to Sammy Parris, and together they shared a life filled with love and happiness. Missy is survived by her beloved children: Morgan Buckner (Trey), Katie Lockman (Sam), Josiah, Jacob, Sarah, Samuel, and Stephen. Each one of them was a source of immense pride and joy for Missy.

In addition to her immediate family, Missy is survived by her mother, Dolores McCallister, as well as her brother Jonah and sister-in-law Megan McCallister. She also leaves behind her sister Rachael and brother-in-law Jason Bivens, along with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by James McGuire her Grandfather, Bonnie McGuire her Grandmother, Vicky Kirby her Aunt, and Daniel Parris her son.

Missy had a profound impact on the lives of others through her involvement in her local church and homeschool co-op. She was dedicated to her Lord Jesus and embraced the opportunity to love those around her.

Waterville Baptist Church 4555 Dalton Pike SE Cleveland, TN 37323 on May 3rd, 4pm-6pm with the Celebration Of Life Service at 6pm.

Following the service, there will be a graveside service at Candies Creek Cemetery in Charleston, TN.
