Sarah L. Smith, affectionately known as Auntie Sarah, passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on April 8, 1957, in DeSoto County, MS, she spent her final years in Olive Branch, MS, where she was a cherished member of her community.
Auntie Sarah was a devoted sister to Fannie Manning, Georgia Briars, and James L. Martin. She is also survived by a loving family, including a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces who will carry on her joyful spirit.
As a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Sarah found strength and solace in her faith, and her unwavering dedication to her church and family was an inspiration to all who knew her.
