Sandra R Surerus, born on October 8, 1962, in Columbia, SC, peacefully passed away on June 6, 2024, in Lexington, SC. She was the beloved wife of Micheal William Surerus Sr.
Sandra lived a life filled with joy and cherished moments. She had a passion for coloring on her iPad and found solace in this creative outlet. Sandra also enjoyed indulging in her favorite meal, which consisted of a juicy ribeye steak, baked potato, and a fresh salad.
Sandra was a dedicated employee of the South Carolina Employment Security Commission, where she made many valuable contributions throughout her career. She took pride in her work and was respected by her colleagues.
Family meant everything to Sandra. She leaves behind a loving and devoted daughter, Amber Surerus Brazell, as well as step-children Micheal William Surerus Jr. and April Westberry. Sandra was also adored by her sister, Susan Caton, and sister-in-laws Susan Housholder, Patricia Cotton, and Kimberly Jettie. Her memory will be cherished by her grandson Stewart "LT" Belton III, grandson Steve Belton, grandson Liam Wyatt Belton, granddaughter Ava Barefoot, and grandson Caleb Westberry. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Sumter and Jessie Robbins, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in the heavens above.
Sandra R Surerus will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Her kind heart, infectious laughter, and vibrant spirit will forever be remembered and cherished. May she rest in eternal peace.
