Sandra Jean Hicks (Ryan), born on September 27, 1956, in Washington, D.C., passed away on August 13, 2024, in Lake City, FL. A devoted mother and grandmother, Sandra dedicated her life to her family, cherishing every moment spent with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren
Sandra is survived by her children Stevie, Joshua, Everett (Brandy), Amie, and Chris (Veronica), along with her beloved grandchildren Anna, Jenny, Tara, Riley, Faith, and Harper. She is also remembered by her surviving siblings, Susie (Michael) and Dawn, as well as her late brother Phil.
Throughout her life, Sandra was known for her unwavering commitment to raising her handicapped adult son, Josh, embodying strength and compassion. In her professional life, she excelled as a retail manager while also embracing her role as a homemaker.
An avid fan of "Wheel of Fortune" and true crime shows on the ID channel, Sandra found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was also a loving widow of Frank Hicks, with whom she shared over 20 years of marriage.
Sandra's legacy lives on through her family, especially her granddaughters and great-granddaughters, who will forever cherish the values and love she instilled in them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
