Samuel Devale Jones was born on July 14th 1984 to two loving parents Patrica and Ronnie Jones. Samuel has two siblings Devaughn and Danielle. He was raised in Los Angeles and Hawthorne area. As a young child he loved riding his bike going to the park visiting family and playing sports. As a teen Sam attended Hawthorne high school. During this time he came out of his shell and earned the nicknames STM (Sam the Man) and JAPAN. He loved to get dress and look nice. He was also known around school as a Jordan head because he had every Jordan known to man. In high school he met his high school sweetheart Melinda. This was in the year 2000 and they began a 9 year relationship that created two wonderful children. On August 28th 2003 they welcomed their first child Samuel Devale Jones Jr. Sam was so overjoyed to become a father and was so happy to be able to pass down his name. With their young son they moved into their first apartment in Long Beach. They made memories grilling, walking down to the park to feed the ducks, having picnics at the beach or just staying in on a rainy day and watching movies or playing board games. In 2006 Sam and Melinda got married and two years later on March 20th 2008 they had their second child a beautiful baby girl named Lamiya Leeana Jones. Sam was so ecstatic to have a little princess to call his own. They would go on long walks with their newborn and Sam would tell his daughter all the things she would accomplish and how the sky was the limits for her. Sam and Melinda had been through ups and downs over the years and as they grew up they grew apart. Sam and Melinda went their separate ways in 2009. The father blessed Sam with another chance at love when he met Chantel in 2017. Sam fell head over heels for her. Their love was a whirlwind . They did it all they traveled, went to sporting events, tried new food and places. Chantel got him out his comfort zone she even got him on a roller coaster. In January of 2020 Chantel surprised Sam with the news they were having twins. Sam was so excited to not only be having one bundle of joy but two. On August 24th 2020 they welcomed Zoey Ann and Zuri Nicole Jones and became a family of 4 over night. Sam loved to play with his girls,he took joy in trying to teach his twins the little things like holding their own bottle or sitting up and most definitely trying to get them to say DADA first. Sam loved his children and they loved him back. Sam was called home on November 25th 2022 and became his childrens guardian angel. He is survived by his father Ronnie, siblings Devaughn and Danielle, Children Samuel Jr., Lamiya, Zoey and Zuri. Sam is reunited with his Mother Patrica Jones. Samuel Devale Jones is gone but never forgotten.
