Salem Nelson, born on September 1, 2021 in McAllen, sadly passed away on February 20, 2024. Salem was a unique individual who brought both joy and challenges to those around them. Despite being born male, Salem lived their life as a female, a testament to their courage and authenticity.

Salem was a resident of McAllen, where they spent their days indulging in their favorite hobbies, which often involved engaging in spirited arguments with everyone they encountered. Their fiery personality always kept things interesting.

When it came to food, Salem had a peculiar taste, with a love for cat food that was unmatched. It was one of the little quirks that made Salem who they were.

Above all, Salem cherished their relationship with Anahi, finding solace and comfort in their love. Anahi's room/bed was Salem's favorite place in the world, a sanctuary where they found happiness and contentment.

Though Salem's time with us was short, their impact on those who knew them will not be forgotten. They will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with them during their journey through life. May Salem rest in peace.
