Sakhe Salve Mpiyonke, known to family and friends as Salve, peacefully passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 25. He was born on July 29, 1998, in Cape Town, South Africa.

Salve hailed from the Dunjane nxasana mkhiwa c'khonza Clan and was proud of his heritage. He was a beloved member of his community in Nyanga, Cape Town, where he resided before his passing.

Salve's warm and gentle nature endeared him to all who knew him. He had a contagious smile that could brighten even the darkest days. His genuine kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

In his free time, Salve loved immersing himself in nature, exploring the beautiful landscapes that surrounded his beloved Cape Town. He had a deep appreciation for the arts, particularly music, and would often be found lost in the melodies of his favorite songs.

Salve's departure has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. However, they find solace in the cherished memories they shared together, recognizing the immeasurable impact he had on their lives.

He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace.
