S. Aurora Sanchez Bolaños Ledesma, affectionately known as Aurorita or Auro, passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 50. Born on August 13, 1974, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, she most recently resided in Dallas, Texas.
Aurora was a cherished Amazon employee for three years, but her greatest joy came from being a devoted wife and mother. She was married to Antonio Ledesma and took immense pride in her family, especially her children, Anthony Ledesma and Melissa Anayanci Ledesma. Aurora also adored her doggy granddaughter, Stacy.
A woman of strong faith, Aurora found comfort in any verse from the Bible, often sharing her beliefs with those around her. She was a firm believer in God and actively practiced her faith at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Aurora was known for her talkative, sweet, and caring nature. She had the unique ability to make everyone feel seen and heard, often engaging in long conversations with friends and family. A generous soul, she would always bring a dish of food or her famous spicy salsa to gatherings, eager to share her love through cooking. Her favorite foods included menudo and tamales, and she enjoyed listening to Grupo Toppaz.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Alma Rosa Jasmin Sanchez Bolaños, and her siblings: Benito Sanchez, Maria Guadalupe Sanchez Bolaños, Alma Nancy Sanchez, Jorge Humberto Sanchez, Victor Sanchez, Miguel Angel Sanchez, and Cristal Jasmin Sanchez Bolaños. Aurora's impact on the lives of those she met was profound, as she went out of her way to help others and make them feel loved and valued.
Aurora’s favorite place in the world was at home with her family, where she created countless cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
