Ruth K . Downs Berry Wildin was born to Gilbert Swing Downs and Harriet Mae (Finch) Downs. She was proceeded in death by both of her parents, her sister Katherine Downs Adams, her brother Gilbert Swing Downs, 1 grandson James David Hyson Jr., daughter Bea Hyson, daughter Penny Moyer, and husband Edward Wildin. She is survived by 1 son-George Richard Berry the 3rd and wife Cindy Berry of Millville NJ, daughter Sandra McFarland and husband James (mike) McFarland of Vian OK, and daughter Lisa Brown and husband Jerry Brown of Springdale AR, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Ruth was a spitfire who always had something to say. She would let you have it no matter who you were. It didn't matter to her one way or another. She loved to spend time with her loved ones and would always introduce herself to everyone as Granny Bat. She would then say, "Well I am just as crazy as a bat." She collected owls and stuffed animals as well as loved to watch General Hospital and would talk to you about it all day long. Her celebration of life will be held on Monday December 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lake Road Church of Christ in Gore OK. Following her celebration of life her family will go spread her ashes.
