She was a avid gardener. She preformed a lot of maintainance and up keep on her home herself including painting drywall and masonry. She liked arts and crafts. She was an avid reader. She was a diehard sports fan who's fandom went beyond her home teams. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. She had a sense of humor, a dry wit. She was married 30 years to the late James Torrence. She is survived by: her Daughter Farrance Vaughn and her two sons Lacell Torrence and Tarence Torrence.
She wasn't a chocolate fan, but she did have a sweet tooth.
She would read the news paper from cover to cover. She maintained her yard and flower beds well into her 80s

She was a devout christian.Standing of the word and strengthening her relationship with christ. She was a member of the ethan star, a group that was dedicated to charity, and she was a member of several other bible study groups.
