Roy DeWayne Huskey, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born on November 23, 1948, in Mentone, Alabama, and most recently resided in Radcliff, Kentucky.

Roy was a loving and devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his wife, Cathey, his daughter Janice Lafollette, his son in law Clifford Lafollette and his grandchildren, Brandi, Brody, AvaLynn, and Rylee. Home was where Roy's heart truly belonged, and he found joy in creating lasting memories with his loved ones. Along with his wife, daughter and grandbabies, he leaves behind his siblings Sharon Pecina, Sandra Owens and Roger Huskey. He will once again get to be with his late brother Garland Huskey and his parents Fred and Dorothy whom left this world before him.

In his free time, Roy was an avid Alabama football fan and could often be found cheering on his favorite team. He also enjoyed watching his favorite shows and listening to Alabama and John Connelly, as their music resonated deeply with him.

Roy had a fondness for good Southern cooking, and his favorite foods included biscuits and gravy, as well as indulging in chocolate cake and peanut butter pie for dessert.

Roy DeWayne Huskey will be remembered for his unwavering love and dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished moments and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private family service will be held to honor and celebrate Roy's life.
