Roshon S Holmes, affectionately known as Captain, passed away on June 9, 2024, in Dixmoor, IL. He was born on October 5, 1992, in the same neighborhood he called home throughout his life.

Roshon's proudest accomplishments included being a devoted father to his two daughters, Rhy Holmes and Promise Holmes. He cherished his role as a father and embraced the joys and challenges that came with it.

Roshon was engaged to Raven Freeman, and they shared a deep bond built on love and mutual support. Their relationship was a source of strength and happiness for them both.

In addition to his spouse and children, Roshon leaves behind a large and loving family. He is survived by his Mother, Latasha Holmes, as well as his siblings Tahari Holmes, Tasha Ingram, Elijah Lewis, Ronnie Holmes, Mia Ingram, Theresa Holmes, Nylah Ross, and Jamari Holmes. Their memories and love for Roshon will live on in their hearts forever.

Roshon will be remembered for his kind and compassionate nature, always lending a helping hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
