Struggled to have children 7 was told that she wouldn't be able to have kids. She never gave up and always believed she would have a daughter. 7 miscarriages and 15 years later, her baby girl was born on Thanksgiving sunday.

Rosemarie Chovin, born on August 19, 1939, in Cochabamba, Bolivia, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Calgary, AB, Canada. She was a beloved hairdresser whose creative spirit shone through in every aspect of her life, particularly in her many hobbies. Rosemarie had a passion for cooking and cake decorating, and she delighted in the art of ballet and flamenco. A lover of fashion and jewelry, she expressed her unique style through her vibrant personality.
Known for her elaborate dinner table settings and her enthusiasm for themed Christmas trees, Rosemarie brought joy and creativity to every gathering. She was also an avid astrology enthusiast and enjoyed sharing her insights through card readings. Her favorite television show was "Young and the Restless," and she cherished films that resonated with her life experiences.
Rosemarie faced many challenges on her journey to motherhood, enduring seven miscarriages over the course of fifteen years. However, her unwavering belief that she would one day have a daughter came true when she welcomed her beloved baby girl, Yasmine, on Thanksgiving Sunday.
She is survived by her daughter Yasmine (Keith) Taylor and her cherished grandchildren, Andon and Sadie. Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband John Chovin, her parents Wilhelm and Elva Doering, her sister Daisy Canedo, and her brother Jorge Doering. She is also survived by her younger brother, Daniel Doering.
Rosemarie will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, creativity, and deep love for her family, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and warmth.
