Rose Mary Adgent, lovingly known as Rosie, passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on December 11, 1953, in Panther Creek, TN, and most recently resided in Rover, TN.
Rosie had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her family and indulging in her favorite hobbies. She loved shopping, going on trips, and cherished moments spent with her brothers and sisters. Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren, Ethan, Eligh, and Enzley Patterson, as well as her step-grandchildren Kenzi, Kelin, and Kinley Journey.
Rosie held a special place in her heart for Eagleville School, where she served as a beloved crossing guard, ensuring the safety of countless children. She was admired and respected by all who encountered her during her time at the school.
One of Rosie's favorite places in the world was the beach. She found solace and happiness in the calming waves and warm sand. Additionally, she was an avid fan of football, with the Tennessee Titans and Tennessee Volunteers being her favorite teams.
Rose Mary Adgent is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Steve Adgent, her loving children Cody Adgent and Cayla (Richard) Journey, and her siblings. She will forever be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
A memorial service will be held at Rover Baptist Church, where Rosie was an active member of the community. Her warm smile, kind heart, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
