Rose Marie Pryor, affectionately known as Rosie, passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born on November 22, 1943, in Chicago, IL, and most recently resided in Pahrump, NV.
Rose was a woman with a zest for life and a love for her family that knew no bounds. She had a heart filled with warmth and kindness, and her favorite pastimes included traveling, indulging in arts and crafts, and cherishing precious moments with her beloved grandchildren.
In her free time, Rose enjoyed swimming and embraced the simple pleasures of life. Her favorite foods included cinnamon rolls, cookies, and of course, ice cream. She had a particular fondness for crime shows and animal programs, captivating her with their intriguing stories.
Having traveled extensively throughout the United States, Rose found joy in exploring new places, but her most treasured moments were spent surrounded by her family. Married to her loving husband Bob, Rose was the proud mother of four boys: Michael, Alan, Brian, and Chris. She adored her many grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.
Rose had a successful career running a family-owned grocery store and mobile home park, using her strong work ethic and determination to provide for her family.
Those who knew Rose will remember her for her banter and playful nature. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and cherished. Her infectious laughter brought joy to every gathering.
Rose Marie Pryor is survived by her sister Kathy Bishop and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
