Rosalie Fox Rodrigues, born on August 5, 1949, in Oakland, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 23, 2025, in Stockton, California. She was the cherished daughter of Charlie Lee Fox and Mona Fox, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband David. Rosalie also has 3 sisters Vicky, Lorraine and Sue.
Rosalie was a proud graduate of Livermore High School.
Rosalie was a devoted mother to her five children, Valerie, Teresa, Kenny, Susan, and Nicole, who were her pride and joy. She was also a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren: Daniel, Ricardo, Melissa, Aliana, Giovanni, Christopher Jr., Kristen, Charlie , Cody, and Preston, and a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren: Jovanni, Ricardo Jr, Jacqueline, David, Jonathan, Jayla, Neveah, and Daniella, Aden and Brianna.
She had a deep love for her family, which was evident in everything she did. Her passions included sewing, reading and watching trivia game shows, and she found joy in cooking her favorite meals, particularly liver and onions. Rosalie had an eclectic taste in music, enjoying the sounds of Conway Twitty, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, and Freddy Fender.
A lover of sports, she cheered on her favorite football teams, the Steelers and the Chiefs, with enthusiasm. Rosalie also had a special bond with her pets, which included Bear dog, Tinker Bell, Ubie, Bella, Jaxon, Oso, and her beloved cats, Misha and Pookie.
Throughout her life, Rosalie traveled visiting places such as Cancun and Ensenada in Mexico, as well as Washington, Oklahoma, Florida, Arizona, and Idaho. Her spirit and love will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rosalie's legacy of love, family, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
