What can be said about our beloved Mom ?She was truly one of a kind—full of spirit, a little “spicy,” and never short on words. She had a way of saying exactly what was on her mind, often with a touch of humor that could make you laugh even when you didn’t expect to. She was funny, lively, and incredibly honest—sometimes even more honest than most—but that was part of what made her so special and so deeply loved. Her words carried truth, her laughter brought joy, and her presence filled every room in a way that could never be replaced.
Rose was truly a special woman—one of a kind in every sense. She loved nothing more than her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into each and every one of them. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including her tobacco snuff, and she was known for her honesty—never afraid to speak her mind, always genuine, and always real. That was part of what made her so unforgettable. She looked forward to her weekly phone calls with Ron on Mondays, a time that meant so much to her and brought her comfort and connection. She also cherished the time she spent with her youngest son, Jalen Hill, and her daughter, Joyce Hill, who both lived with her and were by her side. The love she had for all of her children ran deep, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Rose’s life was rooted in love, strength, and devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and unwavering love that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
Her home was more than just a place—it was her sanctuary. It brought her comfort, peace, and a sense of safety that she cherished deeply. It was where her love lived, where her memories were made, and where her heart felt most at ease. She loved her home almost as much as she loved her family, and in that space, she created a lifetime of warmth, strength, and love that will never be forgotten. 🤍
