He built a successful career as a talented chef in Sacramento, CA, where his love for cooking was evident in every delicious dish he created. He was truly a good cook, and his professional skill was a source of pride for his family. ​Away from the kitchen, Ronel was an avid lover of heavy music and the electric atmosphere of a concert. He found joy and excitement in the mosh pit, with Slayer, Korn, and Slipknot counted among his favorite bands. His greatest happiness, however, was found in his role as a father. Ronel loved sharing his favorite things with his son, Tyler Lane, especially enjoying their time together watching the classic movie Blood In Blood Out. ​Ronel was known for his goofy personality and his relentless desire to make people laugh.
