Ronald Huggins

Ronald Huggins, a beloved resident of Lodi, California, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Lodi on May 12, 1943, Ronald remained deeply connected to his hometown throughout his life.

Ronald found true joy in spending time with his family — his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of his world. Whether gathered for a meal or sharing a laugh, he cherished every moment surrounded by those he loved.

He was known for his sense of humor and quick wit, always eager to make others laugh. His light-hearted spirit brought comfort and joy to many, and his ability to brighten a room was one of his most treasured gifts.

Ronald had a simple palate but strong favorites — nothing pleased him more than a McDonald’s cheeseburger and a Coke. His favorite place in the world was Santa Cruz, a place that brought him peace and happiness.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Debbie Huggins; his children Angie, Mark, and Suzan; grandchildren Lexi, Daniel, and Joyce; and great-grandchildren Marcus, Marlie, and Jessica. He is also lovingly remembered by his nephews Matthew Maxon and Luke Maxon, and his nieces Briana Huggins and Shelby Huggins.

Ronald will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering devotion to his family. His legacy lives on in the stories shared, the smiles he inspired, and the lives he touched.
