Ronald Edward Lyzniak, born on July 7, 1942, in Chicago, IL, peacefully passed away on December 23, 2024, in Mesa, AZ. He was the beloved son of Edward John Lyzniak and Loraine Barbra Wittke, and the cherished brother of Audrey Lerch.
Ronald, affectionately known as "Opa," was a devoted husband to Diane Lyzniak and previously to his late wife, Donna. He took immense pride in his family, including his daughter Stacey Sadowski and his grandchildren Amanda Sadowski, Chloe, and Casee Blanco, with whom he loved to spend time.
A proud veteran of the Air Force, Ronald served for two years and was actively involved in his community. He dedicated over 18 years to the Board of Directors for Cambridge Crossing and 12 years for Westbrook Village HOA, while also enjoying a successful 15-year career in real estate. Ronald was known for his passion for collecting coins, going on cruises, and engaging in spirited discussions about politics, often reminiscing about his political days in Chicago.
His guiding motto, "Always have a savings account," reflected his practical approach to life. Ronald's generous spirit led him to contribute to various charities throughout his life, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
A lifelong Lutheran, Ronald will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and dedication that will be cherished by all who knew him.
