Ron always wanted to be a sailor, he was much more than that. Always there for family and friends. Great personality

Ron passed away peacefully in his sleep,on Monday, June 24. He was a Sailor at heart. He was predeceased by his dad, Terrance Mattice, and brother, Alan Mattice. Surviving are his Mom, Shirley Mattice and sister, Lori Andress, nieces, Jennifer and Kayla Andress, 6 great nieces, and 2 great nephews, several aunts, Uncles and friends. Ron was on the U.S.S. Lewis and Clark. He loved his family and friends worked hard loved fishing, and using his hands, singing karaoke, always kept himself busy. Ron, was a go getter, whatever he wanted to accomplished, he did. There will be a Memorial at Ridge Road Park, in Essexville, Mi , on August 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. I will update, on the Great Lakes National Cemetery.
