Roger James Shelswell, lovingly known as Dodger, passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 75. He was born on July 23, 1948, in Oro-Medonte, ON, Canada, and most recently resided in Punta Gorda, FL.
Roger had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies, including fishing, field trialing, and driving his family crazy with his Facebook posts. He particularly savored classic dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, seafood, and scallops. His musical taste leaned towards the likes of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, while his favorite sports were hockey and baseball.
Above all, Roger cherished his family, finding immense joy in their presence. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Angie, and his three daughters, Cassandra, Natalie, and Rachel, who were his proudest accomplishments. Roger's warm and caring nature shone through, making him one of the most loving creatures on earth.
Professionally, Roger was a dedicated paralegal for many years. His philosophy in life was encapsulated by his favorite quote, "Nothing in this life is guaranteed."
