He grew up caddying at Wentworth and Portsmouth Country Clubs, winning an amateur championship when he was younger. He was an excellent amateur golfer in his prime, winning a tournament championship at Dover's Cocheco Country Club.
Spending time with his wife, Chrissy, their family, and their dogs, Sasha and Sully, at their pool in the summer. He loved to cook for everyone at these events. He also loved Christmas. It was his favorite time of year. He would always buy Chrissy the most thoughtful gifts.
His home in Barrington, NH, and more specifically the front porch and his patio at the pool where he would sit with Chrissy and the dogs, and have family gatherings.

He enjoyed watching his son, Casey, play hockey for many years. He also enjoyed watching golf and Patriots football on TV.
He worked in loss prevention for 7-Eleven for many years, and most recently enjoyed a part-time job in his retirement working at Hannaford Supermarket in the meat department where he was very well-liked by customers and coworkers.
He was telling you what you needed to hear versus what you wanted to hear. He was always the go-to person, especially by his sons, for real advice. His famous quote was, "Do you want the facts or what you want to hear?"
He had many beloved dogs including Jake, who passed away. He is survived by dogs, Sasha and Sully with whom he spent much of his free time with at home.

Survived by his sisters Pat and her husband Greg Bertics, Pam and her husband Bob Smith, and Peggy and her husband Jim Tipton. He is predeceased by his brother Billy Weston.

Bobby was the ultimate curmudgeon. He loved Chrissy and his family, his dogs, his pool, his grills, and his garden. He was an excellent cook and made the best lobster bisque and cheesy potatoes. His sister Pam writes, "I'll miss his sense of humor, his strong sense of fairness, his honesty, his astute insights. I'll miss our frequent and extended conversations on every topic."
He is predeceased by his parents Alice I. (Pat) Weston and James Robert (Bob) Weston.
His best dishes included steaks and cheeseburgers on the grill, potato salad, lobster bisque, and the ever famous cheesey potatoes.
Robert "Bob" Weston, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 74 at Mass General Hospital surrounded by family after a month-long illness and surgery.
He was born on May 7, 1950, in Portsmouth, NH. Bob was the son of Alice I. (Pat) Weston and James Robert (Bob) Weston. Bob graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1968 and went on to attend Keene State College. He lived in Barrington, NH, with his beloved wife, Chrissy, for more than 30 years.
Bob had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. He could often be found swimming in his pool, tending to his garden, or spending quality time with his family. He had a talent for woodworking and took pride in crafting tables or picture frames from wood pallets that he would gift to his family.
A talented amateur golfer, Bob grew up caddying at Wentworth and Portsmouth Country Clubs and even won an amateur championship in his youth. In his prime, he achieved further success by winning a tournament championship at Dover's Cocheco Country Club.
Bob's true happiness came from spending time with Chrissy, their family, and their dogs, Sasha and Sully, at their pool during the summer. He cherished these moments and loved to cook for everyone during these gatherings. Christmas was another highlight for Bob, as he adored the season and took pleasure in selecting thoughtful gifts for Chrissy.
Bob had a talent for cooking and he and the family often enjoyed his steaks, cheeseburgers, potato salad, and especially his cheesy potatoes. He always had a fondness for Breyer's coffee ice cream and loved Chrissy's Crown Royal Manhattans. He was an avid supporter of his son, Casey's, hockey games throughout his high school career, and he loved watching golf and Patriots football on TV.
Professionally, Bob had a long career in loss prevention with 7-Eleven. In retirement, he enjoyed a part-time job at Hannaford Supermarket in the meat department where he was loved by customers and coworkers alike.
Known for his honesty and straightforward advice, Bob's superpower was telling people what they needed to hear, rather than what they wanted to hear with the famous quote, "Do you want the facts, or do you want me to tell you what you want to hear?" He was a trusted source of guidance, especially for his sons.
Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and a close-knit family. In addition to his loving wife, Chrissy, he is survived by his sons Kevin of Rochester, NH, Kristopher and his wife Sally of Rochester, NH, Nicholas and his wife Emily of Dover, NH, and Casey of Barrington, NH.
He was the beloved “Papa/Pop” to Kevin’s children Sarah, Emma, and Olivia, Kris’ son Jameson, Nick’s children Scarlett, Fallon, and Xander, and Casey’s daughter Lyla. They remember swimming at the pool with him, his amazing cooking, and root beer floats straight out of the ice cream carton. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him dearly.
Bob is survived by his sisters, Pat and her husband Greg Bertics, Pam and her husband Bob Smith, and Peggy and her husband Jim Tipton. He is predeceased by his brother, Billy Weston. He is also survived by, his mother and father-in-law, Michael and Cathy “Beama” Mawby of Dover, NH and his brother-in-law Mike Mawby, and his wife Christy of Barrington, NH.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at his home in the coming weeks, with details to be announced by the family. The outpouring of support from friends and family has been deeply appreciated. The Weston family would like to express their gratitude for the unwavering support shown during this difficult time.
