Robert had a zest for life and found joy in the simplest pleasures. He loved to travel and explore, often taking long walks in the woods to immerse himself in nature's beauty. Fried chicken was one of his favorite foods, and he had an eclectic taste in music, with Johnny Cash being one of his favorite artists.
Bobby was a man of many talents, and one interesting fact about him was that he spoke Spanish. Robert's favorite place in the world was Kentucky, and he was an avid basketball fan, loving every team that his beloved state produced.
Known for his hardworking nature, Robert was a good friend to all in every congregation he went to. He found strength and inspiration in Romans 12:12, which states, "Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer."
Robert is survived by his children, Hilary Folk, Brandon Shane, Aaron Shane, and Austin Shaney, who will cherish his memory. He is survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins, and his siblings John Shane, Dan Shane, and Lola Cloud.
