Robert Richard Jones, known to friends and family as Bob, passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 81. He was born on August 25, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and had been residing in Bauxite, Arkansas before his passing.

Bob had a passion for sitting in the garage, enjoying the solitude, and indulging in his pipe. It was a simple pleasure that brought him joy throughout his life.

A dedicated and distinguished career marked Bob's years in the United States Air Force, serving from September 1966 to September 2001. He rose through the ranks, ultimately reaching the position of Lieutenant Colonel as an air intelligence officer. Bob's commitment and contributions to the Air Force were greatly valued and appreciated.

Married to the love of his life, Sara Jones, Bob cherished their journey together. Their bond and shared experiences enriched their lives and created lasting memories.

Bob's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy as a devoted husband, accomplished military officer, and lover of simple pleasures will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him.
