Robert Richard "Bob" Jones, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Air Force, passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 81. He was born on August 25, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and had been residing in Bauxite, Arkansas.

Bob dedicated 35 years of his life to the United States Air Force, serving as an Aircraft Intelligence Officer. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in September 2001. Throughout his military career, Bob displayed exceptional dedication and commitment to his country.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sara Jones, whom he married on July 9, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dawell and Irene Jones, as well as his daughter, Kayla King.

Bob will be deeply missed by his daughters, Riki (Greg) Bagley and Brittany (Dustin) Bryant. He was also a cherished grandfather to Blake Harrington, Brock (Jeslyn) Bagley, Laura (Ryan) Flood, Bryson Harrington, Brett (Kiera) Bagley, Alayna (Chris) Harrington, Anabelle Bryant, and Macy Bryant. Additionally, Bob had the joy of being a great-grandfather to six beautiful children.

He is also survived by his brother, Jim (Francis) Jones, who will fondly remember their time together.

Bob's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His passion for serving his country and his unwavering dedication to his family will forever be remembered.

A memorial service to honor Bob's life will be held at Graves Memorial Baptist Church on Monday July 15th at 1pm. Flowers can be sent to 4617 Oak Grove Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72118.
