Robert "Bob" Pecora, a devoted son to his late mother Helen Pecora, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on May 3, 1948, in New York, Bob was a resident of Tennessee at the time of his passing.
Bob served his country with honor and pride as a veteran of the Army. He then dedicated himself to his profession, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. Bob was known for his quiet demeanor, dry sense of humor, and easy-going nature, which endeared him to all who knew him.
He had a passion for life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He could often be found strumming his guitar, solving crossword puzzles, cruising on his motorcycle, or indulging in his love for model trains.
Robert's taste buds were always delighted by a hearty Thanksgiving dinner, and his ears were enchanted by the sounds of The Eagles. He had a talent for impersonating famous personalities, bringing laughter to those around him. However, nothing could compare to his adoration for the beloved Christmas Story movie, which he cherished.
When it came to television, Robert had a fondness for game shows, Star Trek, and any documentary that delved into the mysteries of the universe.
He is survived by his sister, Diane Leggiero, and his nieces and nephews: Kim Ramsey (Billy), Kris Leggiero, Kerri Yglesias (Rick), Karen Meyer (Philip), as well as his great nieces, Lauren and Laina Ramsey, his great nephews, Glenn Scully and Joseph Scully (Katie), and two great-great nephews, Landon and Noah.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Bob's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Mayo Clinic to assist in colon cancer research.
