Robert Paul Taylor Jr. was born on August 7, 1972, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a kind and caring man who brought joy to those around him. Robert had a deep passion for the military, law enforcement, and all first responders, reflecting his dedication to serving others.
He was married to Lisa Taylor on May 21, 2012, and together they shared a love for adventure. Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, visiting beaches, and traveling with his wife while creating cherished memories along the way. A fan of 80's hair bands, he often found joy in music and laughter. He was an enthusiastic supporter of TCU and Raiders Football. And a fan of Texas Ranger baseball!
Robert will be fondly remembered for his devotion to his family and friends, especially his wife and their two beloved dogs, Payton and Cooper. Rob never met a stranger and he loved everyone with his whole heart. He was not quick to judge but was quick to forgive. He had an infectious personality and always made sure that everyone around him was happy! Rob enjoyed cooking out and just being with the people he cared about the most. He loved eating sushi and Korean food and wanted to return to Korea one day and visit with his wife.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Lisa Taylor of Fort Worth. Mother DJ and partner Jerry of Hurst. Brother-in-law, Phil Oldham, and wife Deana of Eustace. As well as nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, countless friends and family members who will miss him greatly.
Robert's spirit and love for life will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
