His family
Robert Paul Loggins, Jr., known affectionately as Bob, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on February 10, 1962, in Oswego, NY, he was a devoted family man and a passionate school administrator who dedicated his career to the success of students. Bob found joy in traveling and exploring new places, usually with wife Karin and often with his beloved dog, Terk, by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karin Hazlitt. Bob was a proud father to Ryan Loggins, who is married to Jill, and his two grandsons, Ben and Everett. He also cherished his children Tyler Loggins, Ashley Loggins, and Darian Smith, as well as Shaun Hazlitt, Renee Scarinzi, and grandsons, Jonah and Casey.
Bob is survived by his father, Robert Loggins Sr., his brother Brent and wife Evelyn, his sister Sue and husband Ray, sister-in-law Lynn and nephews Chase, Michael, Brandon, Jon and a niece, Jenna. His family was central to his life, and he took immense pride in seeing his children succeed.
Bob was pre-deceased by his former wife Lori Loggins, mother to Ryan, Tyler and Ashley.
Known for his positive attitude and sense of humor, Bob was always ready for a new adventure and loved to play pranks on his brother, Brent. His favorite quotes, "Life is too short to not appreciate it" and "There must be a brewery close by, let's check the GPS," reflected his joyful perspective on life.
In addition to his family, Bob was actively involved in his community, contributing to organizations like Double H Ranch and the Adirondack Corvette Club. He made a lasting impact on everyone he met, always encouraging the success of others, especially children. Bob's legacy of positivity and love will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
