In his younger days, Rob enjoyed swimming, writing poems, and taking walks around town with his eldest daughter. As his family grew he took pride in watching how each of his kids developed their own personalities. He was proud of his kids. After his kids had grown and moved away Rob enjoyed spending time with his Granddaughter, watching television, and pondering the many mysteries of life.

The Doobie Brothers, AC/DC, and Lynyrd Skynyrd were some of Rob's favorite bands. Although he listened to a little bit of everything classic rock was Rob's favorite genre to listen to.
Rob had a soft side to him that not too many people had the chance to see or experience. He was a gentle soul that cared deeply about his family. In his younger years he wrote poems and sketched pictures to accompany them. He was a man of many talents who is missed dearly.
