With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert Lee Richardson, who departed this life on May 23, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on August 4, 1954 in Detroit,MI, Robert was a valued husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a loyal friend. He spent much of his professional life as a skilled computer programmer. Robert is survived by his four children: Martez, Ginneha, ShaTina, and Janiece—each a testament to his strength, guidance, and spirit. He was a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren. Robert found joy in his family, and nothing brought him more pride than watching his children and grandchildren grow and thrive. Beyond his career and family, Robert held a passion for martial arts, achieving the rank of black belt in Karate. His dedication to discipline and self-mastery was evident in every aspect of his life. Robert will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, and steadfast presence. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held in a private location with family and close friends.
