It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Sciacca III on November 13, 2023. Robert was born on September 22, 1969 in Slidell, Louisiana to the late Helen Rester and Robert “Bob” Joseph Sciacca Sr.

Robert was an extremely outgoing and fun-loving individual who brought joy to everyone he encountered. His hobbies and interests included music, art, and cooking.

Robert attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he studied Psychology. He also worked very hard to obtain his Substance Abuse Counseling Certification.

He is preceded in death by his parents Helen Rester and Robert Joseph Sciacca Sr., his brother Robert Joseph Sciacca Jr., his grandparents: Venson and Lucille Marie Whiddon Seal, and Geraldine Mouille Sciacca and Thomas V. Sciacca. He is survived by his children Robb, Chance, and Haley Sciacca; their mothers, Melanie Sciacca and Shantel Hickman Sciacca, and his beautiful granddaughter Valarie Engeron, as well as numerous other family members who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends to honor Robert’s memory. We ask that people take time to remember all the wonderful memories they shared with him during his lifetime and allow those memories to bring them peace during this difficult time.

Robert will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him but we take solace knowing that he is now reunited with his parents Helen Rester and Robert “Bob” Sciacca; two people who undoubtedly loved him very much. Until we meet again our beloved Robert Joseph Sciacca III.
