Robert Joseph John Gaudio, affectionately known as Bob, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on October 4, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, he spent his final years in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Bob was a dedicated innovator and creator in the field of business automation systems and served as the President of Omron Business Systems, Inc. His passion for golf was a cherished pastime, providing him joy and camaraderie throughout his life. Among the many places he loved, Kyoto, Japan, held a special place in his heart.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Tomasina Marie (LaPinta) Gaudio, and their two daughters, Dr. Gina Gaudio-Grace, who is married to William F. Graves, Jr., and Lisa (Gaudio) Phelps, who is married to Joseph Phelps. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Clara and Sarah Phelps, and great-grandfather to Emma Phelps, as well as Daniella and Wednesday VanNote.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Anne Gaudio, and his parents, Henry James Gaudio and Helene Cecilia Gaudio. Bob was a Roman Catholic and a devoted member of St. Edna Parish in Arlington Heights.

His legacy as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
