Robert Joseph "Joe" Strickmeyer, born on March 16, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Florence, Kentucky. Joe lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and profession as a pharmacist.
He found immense joy in his role as a father and grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with his children—Arin Passmore, Rob Strickmeyer (Norah), and Lynn Oldfield (Shannon)—and his beloved grandchildren, Tanner Reid Passmore, Randall Strickmeyer (Serina), Ryan Strickmeyer, and Allan Passmore. Joe's love for his family was matched only by his affection for animals, which he cared for with the same tenderness he showed to those closest to him.
A man of simplicity and hard work, Joe's favorite place in the world was the farm, where he found peace and purpose. He was an avid supporter of the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Cincinnati Bengals, often sharing his passion for sports with those around him.
Throughout his life, Joe instilled values of success and perseverance in his children, feeling immense pride in their achievements. His motto, "Love family," encapsulated the essence of his character—devoted, nurturing, and grounded in family.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Judith Arlene Strickmeyer (née Menner), who stood by his side through the years. His legacy of love and commitment will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. Joe Strickmeyer will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories shared by his family and friends.
