Robert James Bonner, known affectionately as Pawpaw, passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 85. He was born on June 6, 1938, in Capitol Heights, MD.
Robert had a fulfilling career, dedicating 35 years of his life to a security company. He took great pride in his work and the contributions he made.
Outside of work, Robert had a deep love for fishing and cherished spending time with his grandchildren. He found joy in their laughter and treasured every moment he got to share with them.
"If you got it, spend it," was a motto that Robert lived by. He believed in enjoying life and making the most of what he had.
Above all, Robert's proudest accomplishment was taking care of his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Lula M. Bonner, and together they built a life filled with love and support. Robert leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as a father to his eight children, a grandfather to his seventeen grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to his six great-grandchildren.
Robert's vibrant and charismatic personality will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was known for his hardworking nature, ambitious spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and touched throughout his life.
Survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three brothers, and four sisters, Robert James Bonner's presence will continue to be felt even in his absence. May he rest in eternal peace.
