In Loving Memory of Robert “Mac” Hicks
July 30, 1954 – May 25, 2026
Robert “Mac” Hicks, age 71, peacefully departed this life on May 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and love.
Born on July 30, 1954, Mac dedicated his life to serving God and living according to his Baptist faith. At the young age of 12, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, a decision that guided him throughout his life and remained the foundation of his character.
Mac’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a proud father to seven children and a beloved grandfather to twenty-three grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were truly the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether sharing stories, laughter, wisdom, or simply his presence, Mac’s love for his family was unwavering and evident to all who knew him.
Known for his caring heart, steadfast faith, and devotion to those he loved, Mac touched the lives of many. He leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever and a legacy that will continue through the generations of family he so dearly loved.
Though he was not married at the time of his passing, he was surrounded by the love of his children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends who will deeply miss him.
While our hearts mourn his loss, we find comfort in knowing that Mac’s faith has become sight and that he is now resting in the eternal peace of God’s presence.
He leaves to cherish his memory his seven children, Deadrick & Seadrick Hill, Derrick Berry (Kiya Berry) Robert Hicks Jr (Latrelle Hicks) James Berry (Marla Snaders) Clinton Hicks (Bonita Chambers) Tijuana Banks (Mark Banks) twenty-three grandchildren, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
Mac’s love, faith, and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
