Robert Franz Simpson

February 3, 1965 - March 22, 2024

Robert Franz Simpson, lovingly known as Bob, passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 59. He was born on February 3, 1965, in Brooklyn, NY, and most recently resided in Altamonte Springs, FL.

After a fulfilling career as a retired MTA Bus Operator, Robert dedicated his time to his favorite pastime activity: fishing. From sun up to sun down, he could be found casting his line, immersing himself in the tranquility of the water.

Robert's greatest joy in life was his children. He is survived by his daughter, Simone Simpson of Brooklyn, NY, and his son, Robert Jr of Savannah, GA. He had the privilege of being a doting grandfather to Nickai Thompson, Dontae Simpson, Andre Simpson, Gizelle Thompson, Andrea Simpson, Serenity Simpson, and Tiana Simpson.

Throughout his life, Robert lived by the motto, "You wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans." He believed in the importance of embracing the unpredictable nature of life and finding joy in every moment.

Robert is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Simpson, and his brothers, Charlie and William Simpson. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In memory of Robert Franz Simpson, a private memorial service will be held to celebrate his life and legacy. May he rest in peace, forever fishing in the serenity of eternity.
