Robert, known to many as Bob, had a zest for life that was evident in his various hobbies. He was an exceptional golfer, boasting the title of a scratch golfer and achieving three remarkable holes-in-one throughout his life. In addition to his love for golf, Robert had a passion for cooking and was known for his fabulous culinary skills. He found great pleasure in spending time in his backyard, surrounded by nature, and had a deep appreciation for travel and discovering the best restaurants wherever he went.

Beyond his personal interests, Robert was actively involved in his community. He dedicated his time to various volunteer opportunities, particularly with his daughter's school, Ursuline Academy of Dallas, where he served as the past president of the Ursuline Dad's Club.

During his post-retirement years, Robert found joy in working at Total Wine and Williams & Sonoma, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his knowledge and passion for wine and cooking.

Above all else, Robert cherished his wife Carolyn and their daughter Elizabeth. His love for them knew no bounds, and he was known for his unwavering support and devotion to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, his daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Jeffrey Brush, his siblings Kathy Sicklesteel (husband Bruce), Tom Doczi, Dan Doczi (wife Michele), and Barbara Baboian (husband Paul), as well as many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Ursuline Academy of Dallas or another charity close to your heart. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date to honor his memory and the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
