A graduate of South H.S., Robert was a well known baker at Prantl's Bakery for almost all of his life. Baking cakes and pastries for people's special events. He was also an avid bowler until he couldn't bowl anymore. Robert purchased his home at 23 years old, where he raised his children and welcomed all family in throughout the years. He kept a garden full of vegetables, a pantry full of homemade jams, and different plants throughout the home. Now he has moved on to bake and bowl in heaven with his family who has preceded him to the after life: Patrisha, his 1st wife and mother of eldest son Robert Jr, who also preceded him in death, mother Mary Irene Haynes-Blackwell-Robinson, father Harry Herbert Blackwell, brother Melvin, and sisters Vicky and Sylvia, and girlfriend Tricia. He leaves behind brother Harry and sisters Lorraine and Charlene. Children Kia, Eshe, Doreen, Wayne, Shawndell, Ki, and a bunch of grand and great grand children and nieces and nephews. Robert lived a full life and will truly be missed by the multitude of family and friends he has left behind.
