Robert Dean Pompay, lovingly known as Robby, passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 27. He was born on October 23, 1996, in Bristol, UK, and most recently resided in Chattanooga, TN.

Robby's proudest accomplishment was becoming an uncle to his beloved nieces, Linnea and Evangeline. He cherished his role as an uncle and showered them with love and affection.

Robby will be deeply missed by his parents, Merlin and Lucy Pompay, his siblings Theodore and Andres Pompay, and his cherished niece, Linnea Pompay. Grieved by his sister in law Sunny, Best Friends Davis, Bailee and Anderson and all the animals Robby has come to love and care for.

Those who knew Robby will remember his deep passion for music. He believed that music had the power to express and understand one's emotions. In every encounter, he would often ask others, "What song describes how you feel right now?" His love for music was a reflection of his warm and caring nature.

Robby's impact on the lives of others extended beyond his love for music. He was a true friend, always going above and beyond to support those around him. Whether it was staying up late to prepare Gatorade for the Deer Valley Skyhawks football team or waking up early to make breakfast for them, Robby was always there, lending a helping hand.

In addition to his dedication to his friends, Robby was actively involved in various community organizations and charities. He volunteered his time at the Maricopa County Animal Shelter, the Arizona Humane Society-Sunnyslope, and the Chattanooga Cats Haven Rescue. Robby's compassion for animals was a testament to his caring nature.

Robby held strong Catholic beliefs that provided him with comfort and guidance throughout his life.

He will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of many. Robby's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
