Robert Dean Goodwin (62), of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away April 7, 2024.

Robert, fondly known to those close to him as Bobby or Goody, was born to William and Ellen Goodwin, on May 21,1961, in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was a man of many talents, he had a resilient spirit and was one of the most stubborn, yet loyal person you would ever meet in this lifetime. 

Bobby is survived by his daughters Tiffany Glasser and Amanda Nelson (Christopher), and grandchildren Sidney & Parker Sleasman. He is also survived by his father William Goodwin, sister Barbara Goodwin-Whitehurst and brother Billy Goodwin, along with his nephew Christopher Caylor (James Blake), niece Sue Ellen Caylor and great-niece Brooklynn Caylor. He was preceded in death by his mother Ellen Goodwin and his grandson Mark Sleasman.

Bobby had a huge heart, he loved the Lord and was passionate about making sure children were cared for. From a very young age Bobby was known to spend his own money on diapers and food for kids in need. Most recently, he worked with a local ministry and donated countless hours building and repairing bicycles to give to less fortunate children during the holidays.

Though he left us far too soon, the impact Bobby had on those around him will be felt for years to come. The family plans to have a small gathering in Oklahoma City at a later date for all of his friends in the area to gather, share memories and spread his ashes.
