Robert "Bob" Cooper, a beloved husband, father, and veteran, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2024, at the age of 77 in Locust Grove, VA. Born on September 19, 1946, in Iowa, Bob lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication.

Bob proudly served his country as a member of the Air Force, with a tour of duty in Vietnam. His time in the military was one of his proudest accomplishments, and he carried the values of honor, courage, and sacrifice with him throughout his life.

Above all, Bob cherished his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Mary Comfort Cooper, and a devoted father to their children. He found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

When he wasn't surrounded by family, Bob enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, with a special fondness for strawberry milkshakes. He also had a passion for sports, particularly baseball and golf, which he followed and played whenever he had the chance.

Bob will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In honoring Bob's life, a private memorial service will be held to celebrate his extraordinary journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Veterans' Assistance Fund in Bob's memory.
