Robert Andrew "Bob" Barnes, born on March 6, 1948, peacefully passed away on May 27, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bob was a man of many talents and passions. He dedicated his professional life to the field of engineering, where he made significant contributions and earned the respect of his colleagues. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail were qualities that made him stand out in his career.

Outside of work, Bob was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed playing golf and watching his favorite teams compete. He would often gather with friends to cheer on his beloved football team, sharing in the camaraderie and excitement of the game.

Bob had a genuine love for nature and spent much of his free time outdoors. Whether it was fishing by the lake or tending to his garden, he found solace and joy in the beauty of the natural world. His green thumb was admired by many, and his garden always flourished under his care.

Above all else, Bob cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 40 years and a loving father to his two children. He took great pride in being present for every milestone and cherished the memories created during family vacations and celebrations.

Bob's warm smile, gentle nature, and unwavering support will be greatly missed. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A private memorial service will be held in his honor, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate Bob's life and share stories of the joy he brought to those around him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, a cause that was close to Bob's heart.

May Bob rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and deeply cherished.
