Rob Dames, lovingly known as Robby, passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 58. He was born on August 5, 1965, in Jacksonville, FL, and most recently resided in Ann Arbor, MI. Rob had a passion for helping others and was actively involved in donating to youth camps. He also enjoyed bird watching, fishing, and boating. One of his favorite pastimes was taking his dogs for a walk every day.

Rob had a deep appreciation for music, with the Beatles being his favorite band. His love for adventure led him to his favorite place in the world, Cancun, Mexico. Rob was a successful entrepreneur with a bachelor's degree in Business, and he always stressed the importance of saving money and understanding taxes.

Among his proudest accomplishments was building a house, a testament to his hard work and determination. Rob was married to Mrs. Ernest Dames and they shared a beautiful life together. He also cherished his role as a father to his two sons and one daughter, as well as a grandfather to six grandchildren.

Rob is the last surviving member of his siblings, leaving behind a legacy of enthusiasm and a great sarcastic humor that touched the lives of those around him. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
