Rick was active as a DJ at WUNH When he live in the seacoast area.
Rick loved performing as an actor and Improv comedian at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre and was a member of the Newport Opera House Association where he performed in many public plays. He will be remembered particularly for his deep boisterous bass singing voice in several of the churches where he attended over the years.The latest was the First Congregational Church of Claremont, NH.

He also loved collecting semi precious stones and gems. He liked to create jewelry that many folks still love to wear and will remember his beautiful artistry.

Passed on Monday July 29th 2024 at Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care Lebanon NH from quick illness of mesothelioma.
Born May 4th 1959 son of Carol J. Smith & Richard B.Watts
Richard graduated from Gorham High School , Gorham Maine 1977.
Enlisted in the US Navy served a short time and moved to New Hampshire.
Rick was a hard worker always doing his best as a craftsman in providing for others the best quality product. He was a self taught artisan. Self employed as tile and stone mason for several years then employed as a stone fabricator at Enos Stone Fabrication in Hampton, NH, Rumford Stone and Quality Granite & Cabinets in Concord,NH. Rick's last employment which was Kimball Union Academy as a maintenance technician.

Survived by his loving wife Linda Davis Watts Claremont NH. His brother Bruce Watts his wife Sherry and their two children Rochester NH, his brother Carl D.Watts his wife Karen and ten children Manassas VA, his cousin Elaine Smith Purcell her husband John and their two children Newton MA, his niece Taysa Lynch and her family, plus other cousins, and inlaws.
Many family and friends will remember Richard for his kind heartedness, smart wit, good sense of humor, progressive thinking and love for humanity.
