Rich was co-valedictorian and football and track athlete in high school in Camarillo CA. He was a beloved fraternity brother of Tau Kappa Epsilon at UCLA and received his OD degree for Optometry at UC Berkeley. He owned Viewpont: an optometric practice for 39 years. He was a proud member of Montclair Lions Club and was also President for a year.
Richard loved nothing more than
“Hitting a bucket “ daily, having a dirty martini or Bloody Mary, going to Burning Man and working on La Victrola, being an online advocate for colon cancer, laughing at the antics of huskies Dougie and Katara, playing with his two grandkids, date nights with Sue, and bragging about Scott and Perry.
