Richard Thomas Bennetts, age 61, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Lakeville, Minnesota. Born in Minneapolis, Richard lived a life grounded in integrity, dedication, and love for his family.

He is survived by his children - Victoria and Richard, his twin granddaughters - Charlotte and Opal, his brother and sister - Billy and Jeannie, and his best friend Nancy.

Richard was preceded by his parents Margaret and William Bennetts.

Richard loved spending weekends golfing with close friends and sharing his love of music. He owned many guitars, was a very talented guitarist and he played in a local band in North Carolina.

Richard was passionate about his career in healthcare construction. As a project manager, he helped build hospitals and surgical centers, taking great pride in work that supported the care of others. He was respected for his strong work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way.

Richard will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Southside Park in New Prague, MN on Saturday May 16, 2026, from 3 to 6PM at 604 Central Ave S, New Prague, MN 56071.
