You was a wonderful caring loving most important person in my life and my kids life. I wish you was here. You was the most amazing father a girl could ever ask for and more. I love you dad. Till I see you again.
Richard Ray Lee, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 59. He was born on November 24, 1964, in Gallia County, OH, and most recently resided in Henderson, WV.
Richard was a loving and devoted father to his children, Kristin Rae Lee, Jarrid Wesley Lee, and Austin Trey Lee/Parsons. He cherished his role as a grandfather and found joy in spending time with his grandchildren, Lexi Dawn Rhodes (15), Kenzie Jean Rhodes (9), and Isabella Renee Rhodes (7).
Richard's favorite hobbies included planting flowers with his children and decorating their home. He was known for his warm and caring nature, always putting his kids and grandkids first. His favorite place in the world was being at home surrounded by his loving family.
In his free time, Richard enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, such as fried potatoes with hot dogs and sauerkraut. His go-to ice cream flavor was Neapolitan, a treat he often shared with his loved ones.
Richard attended Point Pleasant Junior Senior High School and later worked as a manager at McDonald's. He took pride in his work and always aimed to provide excellent service to his customers.
Richard will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his favorite saying, "People in hell want ice water, what's your point." He was proud of his accomplishments as a father and grandfather, and his greatest joy in life came from the love he shared with his family.
Richard was preceded in death by some of his siblings. He is survived by his children and grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their beloved Ricky, Ricardo, or as they lovingly called him, Dad.
Richard's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
