May 7, 1964 - May 28, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard J. Strohecker, who was called home on May 28, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on May 7, 1964, Richard lived a full and meaningful life as a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend.
RANCE
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria, and his children, Angela, Aaron and Amanda. As well as his Mother Carolyn, sister Susan and brother Steven. He was a constant source of strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family, and his legacy will forever live on in their hearts.
Known for his kindness, gentle spirit, and quick wit, Richard touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a passion for life, and his sense of adventure was only rivaled by his deep love for the simple joys it offered. Richard had an innate ability to bring laughter and light to any room, and he will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard had a special bond with nature, and it's fitting that he now rests in the serene beauty of Vacaville, "God's Country." He always said that when his time came, he would go fishing with God. And now, in peaceful repose, Richard has answered that call.
Though his absence leaves a profound void in our lives, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the countless memories he leaves behind.
Richard's legacy of love, joy, and adventure will continue to inspire us every day.
Rest in peace Dad. We love you!
We'll plant real trees for you in Richard's memory and display your contribution forever.
